Concurrent user session on Windows Server.
April 20, 2015 —
Sometimes, a set of users will use same user account to connect to a same server and would require to have a different session. This can be achieved by following the below steps in Windows 2008.
- Log into the server using Remote Desktop.
- In Windows 2008 R2
- Click Start > Administrative Tools > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host Configuration.
- In Windows 2008
- Click Start > Administrative Tools > Terminal Services >Terminal Services Configuration.
- In Windows 2008 R2
- Double click Restrict Each User to a Single Session.
- Uncheck Restrict each user to a single session.
Note: To restrict to a single user session please place a change mark above.
